Cupola Design Ltd is a vibrant structural engineering practice established in London. Our work concentrates in the residential market including extensions such as loft conversions, rear extensions and basements and new built homes using all building materials.

Previous to setting up the practice, Adrian Ayora, the company Director, has accumulated experience of nearly 20 years in consulting structural engineering services. His experience includes the design of structures for refurbishment and conservation projects, including various Listed buildings. The types of projects have included from small to large residential and commercial building projects, also public, retail and industrial buildings, he has also worked leading transport infrastructure projects over ground and underground including major transport interchanges for mass rapid transit and airport terminals. .
Adrian gained experience of the refurbishment, re-use and conservation of heritage structures and foundations and has a great interest in ancient buildings and any historical or archaeological aspect of buildings.
His experience began in 1994 designing for fabrication seismic resistant steel structures. Since the year 2000 he has worked in refurbishment and conservation projects, for small residential and various public Listed buildings. Working for larger consulting firms he has been the lead engineer in some very exciting projects such as The Grove - Eltham, Unilever Headquarters in Leatherhead, the Crossrail Whitechapel Station, the Upgrade of the Victoria Underground Station, The Abbey Mills Pumping Station refurbishment and various airport projects. It is this wide experience in the industry that allows him to put into practice the latest quality assurance methodologies in engineering practice.
